Standing at the top of many a riders’ lists is the Honda Rebel 300, and at a very wallet-friendly $4,500 price tag, I can understand why. The Honda Rebel 300 bridges the gap between the 800+ pound monster cruisers and the entry level riders that hope to one day own them. If the Sons of Anarchy recruited from high school, the Honda Rebel 300 would be the bike they first gave you. With specs that include 27.4 horsepower, 19.9 lb/ft of torque, a top speed of 85mph, and a staggering 71 miles per gallon average, the Honda trades thrilling power for the utilitarian dream.

6:16 if you buy that bike you not in the wave game yet
Wish it had analog guage.
This dude says "I can tell when I need to shift" But then has no idea when he is suppose to shift and is trying to max throttle from 45mph in 6th gear and saying it needs more power… My 300 with my 260lb frame on it does 88mph
Thinking about getting one in a month, sounds like a dirt bike. How is it one turns.
5:01 that feeling when he doesn't check his left before going forward. justsaying.jpeg
Get on with it for Christ sake!
Does anyone know if two people can sit on this bike?
sounds like my 4wheeler. same engine I think.
How very cool, attractive and exciting … If I had the money I would have bought it from you … I love Honda and I respect everything you make
I can buy a brand new unused 2019 Rebel 300 ABS for $3500 right now and am thinking about it. What would you recommend instead, as a beginner rider bike?… I don’t have test bikes to ride and going to have it shipped to me
4:57 save time, skip to ride
Niche? I don't know bro…everyone I know learned on rebels back then. 250s but rebels.
sounds like a compressor lol.
get a 750 bro. my 1st was a 600 katana
It's not just a beginner's bike, lots of people don't like bikes that weigh 500 lbs and more. Don't much like the guy doing the review here…he doesn't know much about the bike…it is a 6 speed, not a 5. I wouldn't put a lot of weight on anything this guy says.
You know have 270 000 views !!!!
Thanks for this! I’m 15 and just properly getting into motorcycles and I really like the Honda rebel 300!
I like…but sounds like a lawn mower! 🙂
I am a small guy (5 foot 8 and ~130 lbs). Do you think it would be better for me to purchase a smaller size bike like this one or the 500? Never ridden a motorcycle before – 22 years old
This bike just made for Asian short people
Im 6 foot 1. Could i buy this bike for commute and touring? If not, what other bike would you suggest that is similar in terms of style and size?
Bro do the Rebel 500
Good review. Very precise and upto mark. I was about to buy this one but your point about "seating posture" is making me think again as I am 6 ft. and tightened knees is not my choice of ride.
Hagerstown woo!!!!
the 300 is just right for me, commuting to work and daily shopping and stuff!. Usually 35mph – 45 mph roads. Don't need the 500, and i LOVE the cheaper price. Probably wouldn't have gotten the 500 for 1000+$ more dollars.. > . >… 300 totally needs to be around still!
It's a chicks bike!
Nice 👍
Hagerstown boy
Hi I am about to take my motorcycle classes at the end of this month and will be buying bike as soon as I finish the class. I wanted a sport bike but everyone says that I should get something simple for my first bike. I was thinking of the Rebel because of the low power, light weight, and lost price for a brand new bike, plus I wanted something comfortable as a daily rider like a cruiser. After watching your video review I am having doubts about the Rebel so do you have a recommendation for a bike I should buy?
why do i always feel like 300cc bikes are way too less powerful for american roads
Complains about no power. Stays in 5th gear all video..you got another gear SHIFT!! Plus its only the 300!
When cars keep passing on the right. MOVE THE HELL OVER. YOUR HOLDING UP TRAFFIC😒 Time to re read your DMV driver's rules. P S. The bike is cute. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it grows into a teen lager. 😜
The audio is great! Did you use a lav mic?
Rebel 300 or 500 is next bike I want to get such a beautiful looking bike.
I just have small 125cc bike
that glove though
my dad used to ride a royal enfield bullet 350cc. (it’s an indian made motorcycle) when he came to america he went directly to a 1600 cc kawasaki (: after that he upgraded to a 2300 cc triumph rocket 3

Thanks for the honest review, I will go for cb300r 🙂
Ok im late but this bike is 6 speed and is capable of going 85. This bike is more than able to ride on highways
